Most witches preferred to live in isolated cottages with the traditional curly chimneys and weed-grown thatch. Granny Weatherwax approved of this; it was no good being a witch unless you let people know.
Joining in the group read for this one. I was going to use it for the Spellbound square but that hasn't been called yet, mama wants a bingo so free square it is!
I think I read a couple Discworld books in my younger days but I obviously don't remember them because I felt kind of lost in this beginning part, story and characters felt frantic in a way.
