I haven't voluntarily touched a Barbara Cartland title in...almost forty five years? My memories of the ones I did read consist of huge age differences, with heroines in their late teens (seventeen to nineteen) and heroes anywhere between their mid-thirties to early forties, and ellipses... almost...every...time...the...heroine...spoke.
